A Message from our CEO
After many years in the field of electric bikes and as the CEO of Electric Bike Warehouse, it is time to retire. As such, we have closed.
A couple of final comments: People have ask why I decided to close the business rather than sell the business. The answer is, the older you get the more valuable time becomes. Where lost money can be replaced, lost time is irretrievable.
Selling a business takes time, and my remaining years I would rather spend with my family.
It is true, I built over 4,000 electric bikes by hand, and I established an electric bike repair facility which, in my opinion, was the largest, best equipped facility on the West Coast. I employed the very best people and student interns. Thanks to Isabella who worked with me from beginning to end, Josh McKee, Aiden Hughes, Guy (from Alameda Bicycles who helped in our early days), Kyle, Jamison, Phil, and many others who walked into our shop and became a part of the team.
At any rate...it has been a great time and I thank all of our clients for supporting us during those dark years of the pandemic.
Thanks for everything and as always...be safe
Al Carpenter and family
Dr. A.L..Carpenter, CEO
